The Tatuaje Gran Cojonu was released in 2005 as part of a series by Pete Johnson that started in 2003 and is released every few years, with the blend changing with each release. The Cojonu series is a stronger and spicier version of the regular Tatuaje cigars, and the Tatuaje Gran Cojonu is no exception, with its Nicaraguan Corojo 99 wrapper and a blend of first generation Cuban seed Nicaraguan binder and fillers
