The ‘Gold-Band’ Limited Edition project was born in the intense fires of the Aviator Series blending program.
At times, Principle Cigars would create spectacular blends that didn’t quite fit the spirit of the Aviator Series. Additionally, they would find themselves wondering what to do with minuscule groups of world-class tobaccos.
They began crafting a single vitola, the 6 x 50 ‘Toro Especial,’ with an always changing but always remarkable blend. Suddenly, cigars could be brought to market that people would otherwise never be able to enjoy.
Through cooperation with Hendrik Kelner, Jr., and the Kelner Boutique Factory, every stray bit of rare, exceptional tobacco is put aside for this project.
